A three-bedroom apartment in Dubai Marina taken back to its structure and rebuilt over fourteen weeks. Everything came out before anything went in: finishes, joinery, sanitaryware and the services behind them. Civil works reset the layout, the mechanical, electrical and plumbing runs were replaced rather than patched, and the joinery was drawn for this flat, so the wardrobes, the media wall and the kitchen all sit flush. Finishes went on last, to a snag list agreed with the client.
